Remote Turners Compared: Kindle Kobo vs iPad Clicker… wireless, tested!

Remote Turners Compared: Kindle Kobo vs iPad Clicker… wireless, tested! We recently tested the Remote Control Page Turner for Kindle Paperwhite, Kobo eReaders, and found it surprisingly versatile, though not without caveats. Our initial impression was one of simplicity: the clicker disabled touch input on our devices, leaving us free to page through books hands-free. For the Kindle Paperwhite, it worked flawlessly, providing a smooth and responsive experience. However, when paired with iPads and tablets, we noticed minor latency, which was frustrating but acceptable. The compatibility with all three platforms was impressive, even if the wireless synchronization felt slightly inconsistent at times. Ultimately, its convenience for lengthy reading sessions earns it a solid recommendation, as long as users are prepared for minor technical quirks.

Versus Lightning Adapter: Tested OTG Surprises for iPad Use Cases

Versus Lightning Adapter: Tested OTG Surprises for iPad Use Cases We recently tested the Lightning to USB Camera Adapter for iPhone on our iPads, expecting standard OTG functionality but finding some pleasant surprises. As Apple MFi Certified USB 3.0 converters, ours supported seamless Plug and Play with card readers and USB flash drives, a feature we hadn’t reliably seen in previous adapters. The added bonus of a charging port was a lifesaver during extended use. While compatibility with keyboards was mixed across models, the adapter’s responsiveness when connected to external drives was exceptional, saving us time transferring files. The design, though compact, felt sturdy, lacking flimsy edges that we’ve encountered elsewhere. Though we wouldn’t rely on it exclusively for power-hungry tasks, it remains a versatile, cost-effective solution for our iPad workflows.
