Surprising Compared: Snack Versus Meal---Taste Tested We recently opened a container of Give Me Something Good to Eat and, much to our surprise, found ourselves debating whether it was better suited as a snack or a meal. The flavors were distinctly satisfying, with layers of spice and sweetness that left us unsettled in our usual snack-through-meal categorization. We enjoyed it on its own, yet we also envisioned it paired with a warm grain as a more substantial dish. Balancing between the two extremes, we concluded it excelled in both scenarios—gratifying as a standalone bite but equally brilliant when elevated to a meal. That ambiguity, however, is precisely why we love it here. It surprised us, and we don’t mind being surprised. It’s that rare treat that happily defies expectations.
